Autonomous reliability — systems that reason about failure tradeoffs and act without waiting for human intervention. The open problem is AI-driven anomaly detection at enterprise scale, where signal-to-noise still defeats most approaches. The cross-industry angle is underexplored: failure patterns in financial infrastructure and healthcare supply chains share more root causes than either field acknowledges. That's where the next framework is being built.
Ongoing Projects
At the world's largest financial institution, building a Single Pane of Glass observability layer for infrastructure serving 80+ million customers — architected specifically to produce decision-grade data for AI consumption, not just human dashboards. Simultaneously translating that framework into a global SRE training standard now running across multiple continents, while publishing at IEEE and ACM and mentoring an AI product team through a live enterprise hackathon.
Past Projects
Starting with an auto-financing leader, built instrumentation frameworks for business telemetry at scale — later adopted by a major observability platform as a reference model across 100+ Fortune 500 organizations. At a $34B healthcare supply chain enterprise, founded the SRE practice from scratch, deployed AI-powered anomaly detection, cut incident resolution times by 67%, and kept critical medical supplies moving during COVID-19. The MK Scoring Framework — 108 parameters, rubric-based, reproducible — came out of this work as the first systematic methodology for measuring SRE maturity objectively.
